Welcome to Adobe
Students on the CU Anschutz Medical Campus can request an Adobe Express license for coursework at no cost. There are limited licenses available so please be sure it is necessary for your coursework completion before submitting a request.
If a student requires the full Adobe Creative Cloud, they need a sponsoring department to submit a request through the faculty and staff webpage and provide a SpeedType for the $100 annual fee. This is intended for student employees and work studies.
Licenses are active for one year from July 1st through June 30th. A new request will need to be submitted each July to continue subscription service.
With Adobe Express
Adobe Express is a reduced version of Adobe Creative Cloud. The applications included in Adobe Express are:
- Premiere Rush – Shoot, edit, and share videos
- Photoshop Express – Edits and retouch images
- Spark Video – Quickly create video slideshows
- Spark Page – Turn words and images into gliding webpages
Create social media graphics, flyers, logos, posters, advertisem*nts, banners, business cards, and more. Edit photos and videos, create PDFs, and collaborate with others on your projects. Access professional, on-trend templates, photos, fonts, icons, and design assets.
To Access
Complete the request for Adobe Express by following these steps:
- Log in tohttps://servicecenter.oit.ucdenver.edu/CherwellPortal/ITusing your university credentials
- After you are logged in, selectMake a Request
- In the service catalog, selectSoftware and Applicationsand then selectAdobe
- Select the tile forAdobe Express
- Request a new license by selectingNewand complete the form
- ClickSubmit Order
Note:If you would like to cancel your license, please selectDisconnectand complete the form.
(Licenses for Adobe Creative Cloud cannot be purchased with a procurement card or credit card so if you need a Creative Cloud license, please go through your sponsoring department and follow the directions for faculty and staff using a SpeedType.)
Next step after being approved for a license
When you submit the order, a service request will be created and you will receive an email with an Incident / Record ID number. Once you receive a follow-up message that you have been approved for a license, you can access the Adobe Express software by going tohttps://www.adobe.com.
- ClickonSign Inat the top right-hand corner of the screen
- Type in youruniversityemail address
- Enter your university credentials at the CU Denver | Anschutz Web Login page
- Once you're logged in, clickOpenunder the Adobe logo to access the software

Frequently Asked Questions
After evaluating the needs of the CU Anschutz Medical Campus, OIT has revised the agreement with Adobe to better align with our users.
It is best practice for all Adobe users to download their assets from the Adobe Creative Cloud to a university approved storage location such as OneDrive. Files left in the Adobe Creative Cloud may not be accessible at a later date, even if you renew your license from year to year.Adobe instruction for manually transferring your assets is available here.

With Adobe Express, you will have access to Adobe Express for the web, Adobe Spark Video for mobile (iOS), Adobe Premiere Rush for desktop, Adobe Photoshop Express for mobile (iOS and Android), Adobe Express app for mobile (iOS and Android), Adobe Spark Page for mobile (iOS), and Adobe Premiere Rush for mobile (iOS and Android). As a result, you will have everything you need to create social media graphics, flyers, logos, posters, advertisem*nts, banners, business cards, and more. Additionally, you don’t have to create content from scratch. You can access professional, on-trend templates, photos, fonts, icons, and design assets. You can also edit photos and videos, create PDFs, and collaborate with others on your projects.
Adobe Express is free for every student at CU Anschutz. There are a limited number of licenses available, so please only request one if you need it for your program and/or coursework.
Any of the Adobe products can be installed on up to 3 devices for a single license such as a work laptop, a work tablet, and a phone for the same user.
This is for one user and is not able to be shared across multiple users. Each user will need their own license and need to download to their individual devices.
For users who work on shared computers, Adobe products can be accessed via the web browser with no download needed. This is ideal for users who work in computer labs or have shared desks that rotate.
Adobe Express will not be available in the computer labs on the CU Anschutz campus. However, you can access your Adobe Express account via the cloud platform in any of the computer labs.
OIT will provide on-going support with accessing and managing Adobe Express accounts. Training is available through Adobe. The Adobe Express user guide can be found here.
Please check your email to see if you have received a confirmation email from Adobe, this may be in your junk email. If you are unable to find a confirmation email from Adobe, please don’t submit another new request. Instead, contact the Service Desk for assistance.
